I can’t believe the most ambitious Roadfood Eating Tour is almost a month away.

We have just locked in a group room block for the Buffalo Hilton Garden Inn, located very close to the Buffalo airport (and Ted’s and Charlie the Butcher!).  The room rate is $121/night for a standard room and $131/night for a suite, and that includes transportation to/from the airport so you don’t need to rent a car.  We encourage everyone to join us at the hotel since the bus will be departing and returning from that property.  All reservations need to made before September 4th- don’t delay any further since the Buffalo Bills are playing a home game that weekend.

Reservations can be made at the following web site:
http://www.buffaloairport.hgi.com

Be sure to use the group code “RFOOD” to receive the discount.

See you in a few weeks!

That's a very convenient location for all the spots on the tour.  Looking forward to seeing everyone up here next month.

Wish I was going - my hometown! There is a Ted's not too far from the airport, but the one on Sheridan Drive is also across the street from the original Andersen's Custards location.  Not only great custard, but curly Q fries and beef on weck.  Unless they've changed it in the past few years, it also has that classic 50's drive in architecture.

I have an extra spot for the September Buffalo trip. Does anyone want to buy it, or know someone who does?

Welcome aboard!  I've also sent word out through back sources on your extra ticket.  We will have that extra ticket available for transfer in Buffalo everyone!

                          Greetings!
I may wish to register for this trip should another spot become available, and was curious to find out whether you still have an extra ticket to sell...
                          Thanks,
                          Audrey

I am responsible for taking the info off the home page, but I can't do it since my development machine is in the repair shop - it will be changed by the end of the week.
