Roadfood.com is the greatest forum on the web!

I just thought I would like to say, I think our Roadfood forum is the greatest forum on the entire www! There is no other place on the web that has given me more enjoyment, made me as many new friends and has given me more useful recipes, cooking tips and places to go and see then anything else out there. THANK YOU, Michael and Jane and all the admistrators. And thank you all for just "being there". There-I've said what I wanted to say. I hope you all will agree.

Michael, at just about the exact moment you were starting this thread, I was personally conveying just about the same message to Jane and Michael at today's BBQ Festival in NYC. And you will appreciate this, we were chowing down on some Southside Market sausage and brisket. The verdict though, is that it's better in Elgin. Salt Lick was there too, as was Bakers Ribs from your neck of the woods. I'll be in Big D at the end of the month and will contact you soon.

I love reading and learning here. I am not sure what it is about food, but it is so satisfying.

Micheal, It was our pleasure to share time with you, and your son, while on the Texas BBQ Tour last winter. We learned a bit about Italian groceries in Dallas while we were there too, thanks to you. We look forward to seeing you again sometime soon at another gathering of the Roadfood folks!

I definitely agree with you, twinwillow! And Roadfood is my favorite website. Your post almost brought tears to my eyes. It felt good to know I'm not the only one hung up on Roadfood.com. Hey, I pay all my bills on time, etc, etc, and try to treat people real good in life... so I'm allowed to have a few guilty pleasures, right?! (a few little website addictions) And I am so much in my "comfort zone" with roadfood.com I did'nt make it to the bbq festival in NYC yesterday and today, but I plan to be at the Taste of Times Square tomorrow night. Maybe I'll see some of you there. ellen

I agree this is a wonderful place to visit on the web. Where else could I go to receive such a wonderful get well card from so many people? Where would I get raspberries, if not UncleVic? How would my flower garden grow without a lovely gift of irises from The Mayor and his wife? Who can I tease and giggle with if not Roossy and her immortal blue Runzas? Everyone here adds to a delightful mix. Even the trolls can liven things up!
