I do believe the last time Ort and I spoke, that day was good for him.

I know it is the weekend before the Nashville Roadfood get together, but this is an impromptu, informal get together coinciding with my long over due visit to a dear friend of mine.

Mrs. Oneiron and I will be driving the Prowler in the Kennesaw GA Big Shanty Festival parade as she is the Grand Marshal (or is it Grand Marshalette or Marshmallow?) or we would be there.

I guess its spring break and no library right now..

The Big Shanty is a festival in Kennesaw, GA which goes back to the Civil War. The Big Shanty was the place the locomotive (the General) was stolen from in the Great Locomotive Chase. They now have a museum and the festival is an outspring from that. We took Al the Mayor and Janet there when they visited last fall. But I digress, the festival is an artsy-craftsy spring festival (and the highlight of Kennesaw) and my spouse is the president of the business association and coincidentally, the Marshalette of the parade. Believe me, I'd rather meet you roadfooders than rub elbows with high society that weekend.

Will The Grand Marshallette be decked out in the Ribbon proclaiming her title ? Will she ride in the Prowler sitting on the deck with a garland of roses or other suitable flowers presented by the adoring fans? Tell us about the Tiara too! Come on One-iron, it must be nice to have married into wealth and fame! Photo's..WE NEED PHOTOS !!

The festival is for both days, but I will be playing golf while Mrs. Oneiron will be making pictures at the event and schmoozing with the crowd.

The closest I will be is in Decatur on the 17th.

I may go out in the yard...depending on the weather. My Prowler will be having it's blades sharpened to prepare for the coming mowing season. I will look forward to the photo record from MS One-Iron

We are not going to Georgia that weekend... With the Nashville Outing just a week after that one, we have to conserve our resources for Nashville.

Nope.. I dont think it is gonna happen till Fall.
I have been too busy at work to even try to get a 3 day weekend off.
I will let you know, and try again then.
