Roadtrip Vancouver BC to Calgary Alberta

Family departs on 2 week road trip on Sunday. Looking for recs for the anywhere in between. We are foodies so if there are must go spots we will make the extra time to get there. I have a penchant for BBQ, but you don't find that on the west coast of Canada. Recommendations??

Rocky's Burger Bus in Calgary (outlined on the burger page here), Joe BLSPFXKS (yeah, that's the real name) in Banff. Calgary also has a nice restaurant on an island (can't think of the name) and also a small chain of fried chicken places (they are yellow-decor and you can't miss them) There are also a few lodge-type steak houses on the way near Revelstoke which are quite good.
