Rockin' Diners In Strange Places

I wanted to give a shout-out about my favorite diner, the Frost. It sticks out like a sore thumb in Warrenton, VA and has never really been renovated.

The Rt. 29 Diner in Fairfax is the same way.

And tales of diner incongruity to share?

    What exactly is the criteria?

We had a okay-cool diner on St. Pete Beach, the Pelican (it closed last year). It was an original from the 50s, which was great then, but built up around it in later decades were a Dollar Store, a liquor store, an Italian bistro and a strip club.
