Roo, there are truly so many great places to eat in Rockville (where I was today, ironically). A use of this site's search engine should reveal many (Urban BBQ, Joe's Noodle House, Swenson's Ice Cream, etc.) however two quick recommendations: (1) Go to both The Washington Post and Washingtonian magazine's web site and which have specific areas for dining recommendations including by geographical area (i.e. "Rockville"). The latter has a great "Cheap Eats" selection of classic RoadFood places and which has never let me down. (2) And I can't recommend more one of my favorite little (about 30-person) Rockville restaurants that being the Halal Thai... Amina Thai 5065 Nicholson Lane 301 / 770-9509 ...a spectacular, intimate, affordable and delicious representation of Thai cooking (albeit minus the Muslim-banned pork and alcohol). I couldn't recommend more.

Tried both recommendations, Againn and Addies, both were great, thanks for the info.
