Wow! That one brings me back. Personally, I never thought much of the pizza at the Roma Cafe, but I grew up (and still have a business) only a few minutes away.
For me, it's still EDDIE'S, on Hillside Ave. Pretty much unchanged for many decades now- very thin crust, not too much sauce & good mozzarella.
I left a message on the LI thread in Where To Eat about many other long-gone places in the area. Maybe you remeber some?
