Wow, some neat history about root beer. I never knew!

www.bulldogrootbeer.com

Look for the "history" link on the left.

Chubby's bbq even serves this root near I hear.

I just got my order of Boylans creamy red birch beer.. at a cost of $34 bucks for a case (with S&H)...""shudder""..
I wish they sold it in the stores here. It surpasses root beer, and I love root beer, but this stuff is fantastic!

        www.rootbeerworld.com

        They even have a forum.

Tara, that creamy red sounds good! But... don't you need to have a White Castle with it?

Krystal is the closest I can get to them.. Originaly I hail from Miami, where RoYal Castle was the king....that is where I first got my taste of Birch Beer, and mini hamburgers... The Birch Beer, which I have now in the fridge, and think I just might take a trip to get some Krystals to go with them...
Of course, I will take one with me.
I guess Luke likes my favorite...7.5 on the Luke scale...

Ok Roossy, no one has responded to my2nd great idea posted on this site ( fried pulled pork you can order on the net, delivered to your door, sent directly from Chubby's ) but here is my next one, inspired by you and drsmoke. He already serves an assortment of upscale sodas including Bull Dog Root Beer.

An upscale soft drink shop located in every city with more then 100k population, selling the top 10 root beers, along with all of the other hard to find soft drinks. You can be the C.E.O.. I'm not looking for a job but would consider a position in an advisory capacity. Now all we need is someone w/ real deep pockets!

Drsmoke, verrry creative! I knew you had the Bulldog but thanks for the list of others. I think the demand for these types of sadas will continue to grow.
