Rosco's at the Big E

I was at Rosco's Big Dog today, and was told by the owner that they are going to have a stand at the Big E.

For those that don't know what the Big E is, it's the Eastern States Exposition, a 17 day fair (the 9th largest in the US) that takes place annually in West Springfield, Mass.

This year's fair is from September 16th to October 2nd.

For those familiar with the grounds, he'll be located on the Avenue of States between the Connecticut and Vermont buildings.

On the menu - Rosco dogs, steamed cheeseburgers, sweet potato fries and UCONN ice cream.

Do yourself a favor and sample some Thumann's beef/pork dogs while you're there.

I've sent reviews of Rosco's to this site on three occasions, but for some reason they've declined to post them.

I wonder why your reviews aren't posted. Rosco's is a popular hot dog joint; and it's in Connecticut to boot. Right in the Stern's backyard. I would rate Rosco's as the restaurant serving the best beef and pork dog, and Syd's as the best all beef frank. I think both of these fine establishments are deserving of reviews.

Rosco's is way too expensive!!!!!! Thumann's is a good dog but not for those prices!! I won't visit again. I also have submitted reviews never to be posted, I think there are some prejudices on this website to shoreline CT only. I see barely any reviews of some of the great places in central CT. I know of some hot dog joints that are as good if not better than some of the posted ones..of course its all a matter of tastes.
