P.S. A friend of ours owns the original NSU 500SS, Bernd Rodemeyer rode in his motorcycle races in the early 1930s. This racing bike smells like pure history, a true gem.

    Thanks Michael. That's a special interest of mine. i have a little collection of die - cast models(mostly Brumm) from the era. As far as reading, I
    strongly suggest "Racing the Silver Arrows" by Chris Nixon. I don't know if it was ever published in German or even if it's still available, but it's 300+ pages devoted to GP racing, 1934-1939. Just a great book filled with photos, year by year reviews and much more. It's over 20years old now, but well worth looking for.

      You will like it, hard to find for the Users in the USA...

        Bill, let me tell you, that most Fans over here collect the very rare, and original stuff, the bikes, the stuff, the very rare parts.

        Rosemeyer was a local hero, also worldwide in the 1930s, there a so many Gems, so many People collect, hrd to find stuff...
