A slice of Americana is going up on the block. Rosies Diner, located 15 miles north of Grand Rapids, MI. is going up on the auction block. Made famous by Rosie in those old Bounty paper towel commecials. The diner made it over to this side of Michigan from New Jersey about 20 years ago. Thanks for posting this, I never ate here but I have been to Rockford many times. I bet there will be alot of potential buyers for Rosey's, besides all the Hoopala about it being the old Rosey's from the TV Commericials it has alot of other things going for it.

1. Rockford is a small resort town, that attracts alot of tourists.

2. Rockford is home to World's Headquarter's for Wolverine Shoe Company which makes Hush Puppies Shoes and also Wolverine they have a huge discount shoe store located next ro their Headquarters.

3. There are two other GREAT Road Food place in Rockford, Arnies's and the Corner Bar.

4. Rockford is right next to the U.S. 131 Expressway, U.S. 131 is the main Express way in Western Michigan that goes to Northern Michigan!!

I think alot of people know what a great deal this is!!!!
