Just had food from the Roy Rogers on the NJ Turnpike North between exits 11 and 12. I went with two roast beef sandwiches and curly fries. The roast beef is ok, but a bit chewy. The roll itself is soggy and needs to be heated some more. The fries have a nice flavor, but could use some more kick. I haven't hard arby's in a long time so I can't compare right now, but I'll try arby's to see. I think it will end up being better. Coworker had the double bacon cheeseburger and he said, "it lived up to the hype." So I guess next time i'll try a burger

You are probably better off next time at the last free-standing Roy Rogers in NJ, the one by Toms River in Bayville..

Glad you reported back to us, fattymobatty, but wish your food was as consistent as you've been on Roadfood.com!

haha...ellen thanks for the compliment. Actually it's funny you mention "aluminum-foil" burnout because my coworkers burger was the one sitting in the aluminum foil and he liked it. There actually were no roast beef sandwiches out so the guy had to make me two. I might have been better off if it had been sitting for awhile. haha

I'll stick to the white castle or BK around here when I want fast food I think
