Has anyone had the thing yet? I know RT sucks but they sure do sell that burger on the commercial, and in that picture! If anyone has had it, please review it for us

There is no such thing as grade for meat labled 'Triple Prime'. Do they claim that they use three types of Prime meat cuts to make it?? Booogussss. The Jumbo Lump crabcake looks like a crab pancake... You would be tossed out of Baltimore for trying to sell that.. mark

Hello All, Sorry to say, but the times I've been to RubyTuesday I've enjoyed the food, drinks, and the service. Whatever marketing devices they may be using, I have nothing to really complain about. Take Care, Fieldthistle

My husband swears by their burgers...and he is picky about beef.I have not had a burger there, but the steak i tried was mediocre at best.(I know, I know-why did I order a steak there?)

IMO the salad bar @ RT is great. That's about it for me, though. Service has always been good.

I really don't see a use for these types of restaurants... Applebees, Friday's, Ruby Tuesday, Chili's... I'd rather go to a local joint. They are not fast food, so time isn't the issue here, so what is the big attraction with these types of places? Do the commercials get you hooked? Maybe if you're on the road and starving, but do people really go to these places in their own towns, where it's easy to find the good local joints? Just asking.

I don't consider those places as " going out to dinner " all they are is something to eat, 1/2 step above Mc D's

There is definitely a place for this sort of restaurant. They keep the wait shorter at the good joints.

I thought their new burger was great, tasty, tender and expensive. Ruby Tuesdays is a very nice concept based in Maryville, TN. Paul E. smith Knoxvillle, TN

As usual with my 2 kids, we gave my son a choice of wherever he wanted us to take him for his birthday earlier this year. He chose Ruby Tuesdays (18 years of preaching chain avoidance shot to hell!). This was the RT's on rt 22 in (I guess) North Plainfield NJ. For what it's worth, it didn't suck. The burger was just fine (maybe a little over priced), the sides were decent, and most importantly the waitress was NOT clueless, she was very personable, and she seemed to enjoy working there. Not that I would voluntarily ever go back, there was nothing really special about it, but it could have been much much worse (good thing this board didn't exist during my kids' Pizza Hut/Chuck E Cheese/Fuddruckers days). ---Ken

Just asking. some of the franchises are actually very good in communitites. They support the local h.s. sport and music boosters, display local objects such as the local h.s. or college teams, music or arts news papar clippings, photographs, programs, equipment, etc. I've seen this with all the restaurants you mentioned. In particular Applebees and Ground Round (which you didn't mention). So, after football games, music concerts, etc. the players go there to eat to support the restaurant back. I knew of an Applebees that bought the school choir their robes. and no, there wasn't an applebees patch on the arm. I have no problem with a franchise that acts like a local place, if it truly acts like a local place whether some people like the food or not.
