Make pass interference in college football a spot foul instead of a 15 yd penalty.

Once they change the rules in both land pro football to make it so that every time a team I like gets the ball they score, and every time a team a team I like is playing gets the ball and es three and out I'll be fine.

I agree with that pass interference call, should be like the pros. Tackle a receiver who beats you and instead of a TD it's 15 yds. Any def back will take the 15 yds. I would like a penalty called for picking on Notre Dame. A bunch of bullies are picking on my lads.

NASCAR- Even-numbered cars run Clockwise, Odd-numbered cars run Counter-Clockwise. MLB- Season should run concurrently with Football. Winners of the Superbowl and World Series would then play an ice hockey game (winner take all) to see who is the real Champion. Baseballs should be the size and weight of Shot Putts, lessening the demand for seating in the open (un-shielded) areas. Big discounts for seats directly behind the dugouts !! ALL Major Sports that use a DRAFT would require two years of 'Community Service' to anyone who wants to apply to play in their league/sport. This service could or should include military options and would be completed prior to arrival at any training camp..

Mayor Al --- didn't get all the results from your district yet, did you get re-elected? It makes no difference you have a great idea for NASCAR races.

In Pro Basketball, each Coach should have the right to instantanously heighten or lower the rim using an electronic button, twice a half to 14 feet or 8 feet, it would create far more interest...and laughs. In Pro Football, the Head Coachs get to make up the opposing teams lineup and substitute whenever they want. To spice things up in Pro Baseball, Fans should be used as pinch hitters at least 3 times a game, have to be randomly picked.

Pro Tennis, the Raquet is exactly the same size as the tennis ball, it would provide a much higher skill level!

Dressage, a switch to Mules is much needed and way past due, it would bring out the hidden skills the riders possess!

MLB, a pitcher, a hitter, 1 swing, that's it, it will speed the game up, no need for a 7th inning stretch. You will get the damn thing over in 15 minutes. Way past due!!!

Old Guy- My term is 'never-ending' as there are no (zero) living voters in the community in which I serve (myself included in that statistic), therefore I can't be voted out of office. I hadn't thought about the sports outside of the 'Big Three'... but Chewie is right, Let's fix Tennis and Horse Racing and Volleyball and all the others too! Let's merge the Beach Volleyball teams with the Sumo Wrestlers for a more 'balanced approach to 'Setting and Spiking' in the sand. It might be difficult to find a common language for the participants, but putting Polo and Rodeo into the same arena could be an interesting combination. Having two defensive skeet shooters defending each PGA tourniment hole as the Offensive golfers advanced from hole to hole would certainly liven up sports that induce comas in many observers! And for my Beloved Kentucky Derby, let the horses be decorated with sponsor ads like the NASCAR cars and hang cameras on them fore and aft, and 2 way radio interviews DURING the race!! Maybe add a pit stop with a Mandatory change of saddle at the halfway point??? For the Basketball AND Football timing. Make the 4th quarter only 2 minutes long. Everygame I see that's where all the action actually takes place, Let's trim out the inactivity!

Mr Chewing The Fat Dear Sir: Replying to yours of the 15 hours ago. I must agree with you on all but Dressage. It is a thrilling event, second only to the Westminister Kennel Dog Show. But all those dog & pony shows on the telly are keeping me up past my bed time. I have decided that either you are sitting at the end of the bar sipping samples of new exotic drinks or sniffing glue under the counter. In ether case having spectators pinch hit is silly. Yours very sincerely, The Ancient Mariner ----his self

The NFL overtime rules should be replaced with those used in college. It's not only fairer, it also creates more excitement.

douginvirginia Discontinue the DH in the American League. I agree 100%. Also, let a college football player who falls down with the ball get up and run, not be down at the spot of field contact.

Yours very sincerely, The Ancient Mariner ----his self Ancient One, with age , wisdom, that's how you know what I'm doing...That said, spectators pinch hit is as good an idea as having spectators make up the entire Special Teams roster in MLF, which is also way past due. Think fan participation. Same in NASCAR, half the drivers chosen at random, with an emphasis on women, a highly under represented fan base, 20 years past due!

Referring to all sports broadcast on TV: No time outs allowed just so the Tv can get in all of its ads. No second guessing or coaching or umpiring from the pressbox. Keep the camera on the action and out of the stands. The announcers must learn to shut-up when they have nothing useful to add to the conversation. Which means they should shut-up 90% of the time. Cheers, John
