I have made this before, and posted it, but this time I cut the recipe in half, since I am only one..... Recipe below is for the full portion. I would also check it after 20 minutes..... The one below is cooked for 20 minutes. Ingredients Directions -
1 Using a 9 x 13 baking pan, unroll one package of refrigerated crescent rolls and line the bottom of the pan. -
2 Flatten. -
3 Mix together the cream cheese, sugar and extract. -
4 Spread over the crescent rolls. -
5 Unroll the other can of crescent rolls and place on top of cream cheese mixture. -
6 Pour one stick of melted butter or margarine mixed with cinnamon sugar or one tablespoon of cinnamon -
7 Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Stick in the fridge if not eaten right away.... Before baking: Finished....... Oh yum.... It smells heavenly!... Taste's better.... I just sliced off a little piece..... Oh........ Yum....

MiamiDon Is this available at your Roadfood restaurant? My kitchen is my Roadfood restaurant.. ROFL...... But I tell you, its soooooooo good... I am still nibbling on it.. I just cut a slice off here and there...It taste's good cold.. Of course you have to put it in the fridge after its done, since it is creamcheese (Unless it is all eaten right away, and no leftovers! )

Wow, Roossy, that looks great!! Do you think I could modify your recipe with light cream cheese and Splenda? I dont want to, but you know my diet restrictions...

Ann, if you try that please let us know the results. My husband has similar restrictions and I would love to make a sugar free version for him.

Looks super easy and yummy. It reminds more of a cheese danish/turnover type of dessert than cheesecake. Light cream cheese would work fine. You might want to try the splenda that is the box that specific for cooking/baking. Not sure what chemical structure change it entails, but i know they make a product for such uses.
