What, pray tell, are SKOR and HEATH

Both are candy bars. Both are crunchy butter toffee, covered in milk chocolate.

Made by different company's. Hershey makes Skor I think. Very easy to look up a wealth of info on these two candy bars.

I dont really like either of these. The closest in taste to this that I like is Butterfinger. I find Heath/Skor to be too one dimensional in flavor and texture.

Skor and Heath bars are toffie (crushed up crunchy bits of tiffie) candybars coated with chocolate. Both are about the size of a Hershey bar. Both are great. Heath bars are easier to find here in Huntsville, AL.

I like either one, but I think Skor is slightly better.

Thank you all. I'm not much of a candy fan, and although I do remember Heath bars I hadn't heard of them in many years. I've never heard of the other.

A Skor bar is thinner than a Heath bar. I tend to go for Heath bars because they seem to be harder to find than Skor, and Heath is a good treat memory from my long-gone childhood. I also think Skor's thinness adds to more of a delicate flavor. To me, Heath seems a little richer than Skor with its thicker toffee.

I'd choose Skor over Heath any day, unfortunately, Skor is very hard to find around here.

Does anyone remember the Health bar version that wasn't as hard to bite into? I don't think they make it anymore, but I liked it. Same taste, just easier to bite. (toffee wasn't as brittle? I guess...) Looks like I'm a toffee wimp.


Speaking of which, I'm making my own holiday toffee later today which is better than Heath OR Skor!

Skor and Heath are both manufactured by Hershey. The ingredients are almost exactly the same, listed in almost the exact same order.

When did candy bars start? Where did the idea come from? One day we're chasing down an antelope, clubbing it, dragging it back to the cave to cook and then draw pictures of it after we eat, and the next day Ooga and I are debating if we like Baby Ruth better than $100 Grand.

Skor. chocolate has milkier taste.Plus toffee seemed smoother also. Problem is I havent found one in cinci in over a year. Heath is everywere, but no Skor.

Skor won out, but, admittedly, not by much

I prefer Skor. They go great with a slurpee from 7-Eleven.

I have to say Heath because they're thicker and richer. I don't eat sweets very often, but would definitely choose the Heath over the Skor (not that the Skor is bad). I like the texture and chewiness of the heath better.
