Sam's Club Hot Dogs

I don't get them often, but I really like the hotdogs served at Sam's Club. They are big juicy, steamed, and when I top them with mustard, relish, and diced onion, simply delish. Not to mention, a good deal with drink. Wonder what kind of hot Dog they use? I was told they never sold them to the public.

Our local Sam's advertises their's as Nathans dogs. They are big, probably 1/4 lb dogs, and at $1.50 with a large soft drink, a pretty cheap snack or lunch. I like to use mustard, onions, and the kraut they supply as condiments.

To me they taste like Hebrew National, which they no longer sell in the 1/4 lb. size

Years ago, my Sam's Club told me they were Hebrew National. They changed their snack bar and now serve much smaller dogs, which are not as good.

My local Sam's uses a big Nathans, too. Not very tasty, since they're not grilled. Can't say as they're a memorable dog, either. Just average, at best.
