Saturday Night Special Sat, 09/11/10 8:49 PM (permalink)
A friend sent me this short video and it is great.
It is perfect for sitting back and relaxing and thinking of
beauty and love and those we have lost on a Saturday
Evening alone.

The waterworks in the background
must have taken a lot of work to sync with the music.

The song sung by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman
"Time To Say Goodbye" will always be the most beautiful
I have every heard--------It was the last thing my wife gave
me before I lost her 10 years ago.   We both knew it was
the end and the words were perfect-----Time to Say Goodbye.

CTF see what you could do with your parking lot if you had a zillion dollars of oil money and two pretty good singers.

Mac the Tac --- yes I thought so too.  Love that song and the dancing waters.

Have youse guys ever been to Longwood Gardens (between Philly and Lancaster) to see the fountain display at night?  Lovely, but small potatoes next to Dubai.  The duPonts were only millionaires.

Ancient One, funny you should mention that as I have the exact same type fountain in my front yard, only it's much bigger than the one in the video. Julio Iglesias, takes care of it for me.

I gotta stop drinking in the afternoon.  Have to settle for mornings only.
It's funny how your mind works-------just play the first note of Time To Say Goodbye----nothing more and I will recognize it.  That one note could be played 10,000 times a day and it would mean nothing to anyone-----but that orchester hits one note and I am like a watchdog----my ears perk up and I know I will be happy for 3 minutes, and maybe the rest of the day..

Here's the website for the company that designs a lot of these majestic fountains.  Take the time to explore their site.

Sorry Dawn but I have no idea what RG?Roam,Raven and similar is, was or will be.

I was driving along, minding my own business, when I first heard "Time To Say Goodbye"  ----there was a Towers record store nearby and i drove in----went to the Classical dept and told the clerk---I just heard a recording of a song whose name i don't know----it was performed by a tenor and soprano singing a duet.------He looked up at the ceiling for a second, walked me over to the exact C/D I  was looking for----------Took it home played it until it was worn out.  My wife loved it.
