School colors

What were your high school or college colors?  Anybody have particularly crappy or memorable  ones?
 
My high school colors were red and grey - we liked them.  Our rival high school in town's colors were brown and gold - we referred to them as the "poop & pee" kids.
 
My college's colors were purple & white (Niagara University), and my daughter is an alumna of Kansas State, another purple & white school.

Hey Niagara,

When I saw the headline, I was wondering if you would mention the memorable colors of the Niagara Purple Eagles.  I share that color from going to grad school there, along with the bright orange and brown colors of RIT.  Of course my favorite college color is the Carolina blue of the Tarheels, but that's from the homeland, not from being an alumnus.

I'll be curious to see what color combinations people share - should be interesting.

My high school was blue and white-we were the Blue Dukes..college was black and gold-Univ.of Milw.

High school = maroon & black (Peoria Central High School, the oldest high school west of the Allegheny Mountains, and 17th oldest in the entire nation: May 1856)

College = red & white (Bradley University)

High school - green and gold (except it was really that nasty yellow that people insist on calling gold)

College - blue and yellow.

HS red&white, College, don't remember.

Hello All,
We were the Turner Ashby Knights with
colors black and white in high school.
James Madison University was purple and gold.
I still feel a greater closeness with my high school
than my university.

My high school colors were blue and grey. College? I wasn't interested, even though I had the chance to go. Definitely the biggest regret of my life. 

High School.. Hamilton High in LA... Green and White

That was okay but what to wear with the sweater?

College CSUN (Northridge like in the earthquake)  which was VSCSF when I went there:  Red and white.

Hunterdon Central High School  Flemington NJ

Solon Spartans (IA)  Back and Orange

Univ of Iowa (GO HAWKS!!!)  Black and Gold

I wore the Royal Blue and Gold as a Mustang-playing baseball and basketball at John Muir High School and the kept the Gold with Cardinal Red as a Lancer(still on a horse) at PCC-Pasadena City College, both were also the alma mater of Jack Roosevelt and Matthew "Mack" (the Olympian) Robinson my childhood heroes and friends-neighbors of my family
 
 

Niagara
Our rival high school in town's colors were brown and gold - we referred to them as the "poop & pee" kids.

My Speedway High School Sparkplugs colors were brown and gold and we "poop & pee-ers" kicked the s*** out of everyone in football going undefeated my junior and senior year.

University of Cincinnati Bearcat colors were black, red and white.

North Central High School in Indianapolis:  red, black and white ("Red, black, white, united we stand . . ..").
 
Northwestern University:  purple and white.  Mascot is Willie the Wildcat, but when I was an undergrad, there was a movement to change it to "Purple Haze."  It didn't happen.

Mine did.

Archbishop Alter HS Knights: Brown and Gold (Not a good combination when everyone refers to them as the two body excrements).

Wright State University: Gold and Green.

New Providence NJ - Green and Gold

We looked like the GB Packers

Purdue - Black and Old Gold (I assume the old part is to distinguish it from other schools' Black and Gold, like Iowa and Milwaukie mentioned above)

Since my career was in Education, School colors are/were a rainbow blur in my memory.
 
My HS Alma Mater were Blue/White.  My Undergrad was Salem State (Mass), and Graduate School was Oswego State (NY) The only color I recall from my Oswego years was the blinding WHITE of the Snow !!
 
Early career era I worked at Blue/White (Upstate New York), Green/White (Near Porkbeaks in Skillman, NJ). 
 
Colleges in Indiana, Kentucky, Idaho and California (no memory of the colors for most, but see the Morehead State-KY Blue/Gold on TV now and then).
 
Then finished up at two H S's in Hesperia, CA (Black/Gold
Scorpions and Teal Blue/White Sultans
We now live in a small town in Southern Indiana where the local H S uses PURPLE/GREY for the colors.
 
Nicknames/Mascots included OLYMPIANS, WITCHES, BLUE DEVILS, COUGARS, TECHIES, EAGLES (TWICE), COYOTES, SCORPIONS, AND THE SULTANS. (And a couple that I have forgotten!)

My high school colors were red/black (red elephants),  undergraduate school  (LaGrange College)--red/black (panthers), graduate school (Georgia State University) red/black (panthers).   I sure seemed to be a creature of habit in those days...

Mine did.

We didn't have any teams that I know of. Time to do some research!

High School was officially purple and white but all the uniforms were purple and silver (looked better than white) - Bloomington (IN) South High School Panthers

Undergrad was maroon and white though again a lot of the uniforms used gray - Colgate University Red Raiders.

Grad was Scarlet and Gray.  Little school with a nut as a mascot in central ohio.

High school were black and orange...Gladewater High School.

College was purple and white...Stephen F. Austin.
