Schuler's Potato Chips Wed, 11/9/05 4:51 PM (permalink)

Does anyone remember Schuler's potato chips? They were quality chips and very regional in nature. In the late 50s my sister worked for Schuler's and would frequently bring home a Schuler's feast, made just that day at the factory. For a kid growing up in the 50's it didn't get any better than that.

That's the brand of potato chip I grew up with. Are they out of business?

I think the brand became defunct many years ago. As I recall a larger regional chain bought them out; I think it was Wise. Wise in turn is now owned by Borden's as memory serves.
If anyone can bring the brand back I would think it would be Borden's as they probably own the name.
