Schwartz Candies

Has anyone else ever heard of this business? I was watching the Food Network this weekend, and saw the process of making the chocolate covered marshmallows. I am not a big sweets/candy person, but I was mesmorized by the look and production. They originate out of Carle Place NY, on Long Island. Being that it's around Valentine's Day, I am considering placing an order. Are they as good as they looked on TV?

Schwartz candies has been around for years and years! I grew up less than half a mile from their original factory in New Hyde Park, and have enjoyed their candy since I was a kid. They moved to their current location about a year and a half ago. The chocolate IS as good as it looks, the taste is outstanding! A trip to Schwartz is a MUST for us at V-Day, and we also go there at Easter time, and for our birthdays. I have never been disappointed in anything I've ever gotten there. ENJOY!

Schwartz rings a bell as an old time NYC premium candy line, like Barracini, Schraffts, Lofts, Fannie Farmer, etc.
