My wife has family in Buffalo...we visited about 3 years ago. We, of course, did the wings & the beef on weck...but I also remember the hotdogs. Almost every day I walked to Louie's for a dog...I seem to remember some kind of greek chile sauce on it. Her family referred to 'em as "scumdogs." I'd love some help with my fading memory.

I did some more research on my own. Although I visited a Ted's, I walked to "Louie's Texas Red Hots" every day for lunch. I found Louie's menu online, and here's what is says:

Texas Red Hot: "One of Buffalo's oldest fast foods. Served on a steamed roll with mustard, silver onions and Louie's Special Greek Sauce. $1.59

I'd love to have someone who knows help me recreate their Greek Sauce.
