Cattlemen's BBQ sauce is now available to public, has been a chef's secret as the best BBQ sauce available to restaurants only, and now can be bought on internet from them.. Buy the "Original" and use is as a base to kick up your own version...

I dont mean to be rude but these forums are for discussing food not blatantly advertising it :/

Just make your own and save on the shipping charges! 1 32 ounce bottle catsup 1 cup dark molasses 1 1/2 Tbsp or to taste tabasco sauce 1 cup finely chopped onions 1 mediun green bell pepper, finely minced 1/2 cup lemon juice 1 tsp. garlic powder 2 1/2 Tbsp dry mustard 3 Tbsp white vinegar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 Tbsp liquid smoke 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce Combine all except water in a large, heavy saucepan. Pour the water into the catsup bottle and shake then add to the pot. Bring to a boil stirring constantly, reduce heat and simmer until onions and bell pepper are very tender, about 2 hours. Stir occasionally.

For those who don't like vinegar based, leave out the catsup, add chili pepper flakes and 2 more Tbsp vinegar. MMMM. I haven't bought bottled sauce in years.

UncleVic - People might be offended, but have you ever added a can of pineapple to your bbq sauce? It's great when you serve those little cocktail wieners or meatballs this time of year. I'm talking about use for appetizers here people, not suggesting you put it on your smoked meats, be nice. I've also used it as a pizza sauce for bbq chicken pizza.

I feel it would add a great flavor, not to mention make a nice glaze while bbq'n.

So I went ahead with some pineapple bbq sauce, I strained out the pineapples. The sauce was very sweet so I didn't put any pineapples on as toppings, I used chicken and jalapenos. RAW: WAITING: DONE! [imghttp://a3.cpimg.com/image/09/4A/42539273-367e-014000F0-.jpg][/img]
