This article might be of interest to the Milwaukee and Chicago people that shop at the Wyndham Village (Franklin) Sendik's.

I kinda wondered how having two Sendik's stores so close to each other would work out.  Now I guess we know.  Too bad.  They should start moving south toward Chicago where they would be welcomed with open arms as long as they don't open up too close to a Sunset Foods location.

That's the Sendik's chain that I shop at.  I hope it is not a sign of trouble at my store, too.  It is the best grocery store I have ever shopped at.  Even if we don't get Buddy Roadhouse demo days anymore.

I think the various Sendik's groups are financially sound overall, it was just the fact that two stores with the same name, even when owned by different parts of the family, cannot co-exist for very long.  It's really a shame that they had to go out.  Sendik's as a whole is one of our best customers and we hate to see anything bad happen to them.

As for Roadhouse demos, you never know when I might turn up.  Why, I'll be in the Twin Cities July 9th through the 12th.  Who knows if a Milwaukee trip might not follow soon thereafter.  Anyway, I don't have time to do too many demos this summer.  I'm too busy having fun going on Roadfood tours and eating Barbecue and pie(s) with my friends from Milwaukee and Chicago.
