We will be doing a short over night mini-vac / wine tour in the area next month.  Any recommendations on places we should eat?  We will probably be spending most of our time on the western side of the lake.

TIA,
Dan

Mac's Drive-In.  It is just North of the lake on Rt. 20.  If you love nostalgic drive in's then this is a must.  I slammed on the breaks when we drove past it a couple years ago I was so excited.  The root beer was  good and served in a frosted mug!  The teenagers working there were very friendly and nice.  The fries were cut there, not frozen.  Their site has their menu.  Also, just down the road was a bee/honey shack, if you are into that.

We never say "Lake Seneca", we always say "Seneca Lake" - don't ask why, just accept it...

Recommend you search a recent thread started by Scoreader on the subject of Finger Lakes eating and wine tasting.

        Cheers, John

          John,

Funny you should mention that.   I always say "Seneca Lake" too.  However, when I typed it that way it just didn't "look" right.  My brain does weird things to me sometimes.   LOL
