Sounds like the microwave corn dog is the least of her problems.

I like my corn dogs, but I haven't paid .75 for one since I was a youngster.  Not sure I'd pull a knife on someone over a corn dog either. Sheesh.

I'm a big corn dog fan, but not a stupid crazy cd fan.

It's hard to find a good cd around here. I like a good tasty weiner, a corny batter mildly sweet and fresh fried. Like I said hard to come by around here.

Before I left Fresno a lady at the Fresno grizzlies was making some really great corndogs. I sure miss her.

I'll be holding out till the Indiana State Fair for my corn dog fix. There's a guy there that makes a mean dog. Fat Boy concessions. One of the things I look forward to every year at the fair. In a pinch I'd eat a Kahn's corn dog, but they aren't available in my area.

I do have to put in a plug here - if you're in the Atlanta area and do like a good corndog, get yourself to Pallookaville, plunked into the genteel English-Tudor-style community of Avondale Estates. Not too out of place, as it's also the home of the original Waffle House.

While I'm old and senile..and may push MH for curmudgeonliness..........I don't think I have ever had a corn dog...........it's just dog and a corn batter, correct? Anything special in the batter? Any special condiments?

I can get different types of meat.but what else sets one CD from the next?

I had a bite of MH's corn dog at the Ohio State Fair last summer.  Unremarkable.  I would never order one.  I went for the pulled lamb sandwich and then later a half rack of ribs.

There are many rival claimants to the title of inventor of the corn dog: George and Vera Boyington started selling their Pronto Pups in 1941 in Portland, Oregon; brothers Neil and Carl Fletcher came up with their Corny Dog at the Texas State Fair in 1942; Dave Barham, proprietor of Santa Monica, California's Hot Dog On a Stick, started selling the tasty treats in 1946; Ed Waldmire, owner of the Cozy Dog Drive-in in Springfield, Illinois claimed to have invented the dish in 1946 - the state of Illinois even having a poster saluting "the Birthplace of the Corn Dog." Local and regional bragging rights aside, it's obvious that this dish goes back a long way. In any case, there's nothing like going to a fair or amusement park, and enjoying a delicious corn dog.
