Seriously?

I looked at one of those big tubs of mixed nuts at Costco.  The ingredients read:  Cashews, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Pecans, Macadamia Nuts, Peanut Oil and Sea Salt.

In the nut warning section it reads:  Contains:  Cashews, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Pecans, Macadamia Nuts.

My only problem is the salt so I still passed on them.

I would have passed on them because of the Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Pecans and Macadamia Nuts.

So there are nuts in the nuts, I think thats nuts...........My wife always buys the Gallon items that are connected by that plastic part that takes three people to remove it. You know, the items that take a life time to use up. We give one of them away, she thinks we're saving money. I'm going to go broke saving money this way...........

What?  No cashews?  When I was in Brazil I saw cashews as big as my thumb for about 39 cents/lb.  And they were salted.  And delicious!

Mar - they did use sea salt which is lower in sodium, so go ahead and get them toss out the Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Pecans, Macadamia Nuts and enjoy the rest

So whats the problem with the salt?  Nuts dont taste good unless they are salty!

I agree.  When I buy, by mistake, unsalted nuts I don't enjoy them at all.

Salt is not on the official list of products that need to be on the warning labels
