As Gracious and Accommodating as Tom is.....the only reason to go is to experience what he also does best!  I'll save my fried clam travels for when I can haunt Wanderingjew

So glad you're in!  I'm thinking 5-6:00ish.  Will let you know as the date approaches.  And no, you do not have to bring pitza or pizza or anything else!  Just an appetite!  Tom will take care of the rest!!!!

What would you expect from someone who lives in Cincinnati, but can't make it to a meet & greet in his own town.

*shrug* peace at home is important to me

I didn't say anyone *needed* pitza, and I didn't say pizza at all

It is not uncommon at roadfood get-togethers for some of the participants to bring with them one or more regional foods from their area to share with others who are not from their area.  I associate Mosca with pitza due to the thread linked above.

Like I have told many folks here, I can't attend Roadfood get togethers.

I'll stop responding to this thread now, to help return the discussion to the thread topic

Lots of numbers, dates and times got shuffled on this thread... Lisa, post the date and time for your celebration at Chubby's Please.
If Possible we will check into a sat-sun trip...but tentative at this point.
Janet works Monday Afternoon..a serious restriction to late sunday travel

My birthday is June 15 which is a Sunday but there's no reason we can't celebrate a day earlier if that would mean that you and Janet could attend.  We sure would like to see you two!!

Tom  anf Lisa
We can do Sunday if it is an afternoon meeting Get us on the road by 6 pm or so would work
Thinking of a 1 or 2 PM start with lots of chit-chat and BS time with pick'n' at all Tom's goodies, rather than a Thanksgiving Feast kind of dinner... but thats up to you and Tom.

Tom, Do you have the room for a 4 hour BS session with food for the RF gang (paid for-not free) without losing a lot of business???

MH  whats the driving time from your side of Columbus to Emmittsburg? We may do a Cemetery visit on Saturday in Centerburg then head over thru Amish Ohio to be in the General area Sunday Morning.
BTW Jan has given tentative approval, assuming pet things are resolved here by that time.

Al, it's 375 miles, so about 6 hours.  Since it's going to be Sunday afternoon, we'll leave on Saturday.  (I'm answering because we are in Pittsburgh and only brought my laptop.  MH can give more details and/or answer ?s when we get home tomorrow.)

I'll be travelling up & down Rt. 15 this weekend bringing my son (and all of his stuff) home from college for the summer. Not sure what times we'll be going through Maryland, but hoping to be able to stop for a meal.

OK The plan is beginning to take shape for us. I'm not in condition to organize anything so Lisa and 'Chubby' Tom you guys figure out the details and push the invitations for the mid-atlantic crowd. I'll send out a few notes to friends who might like to join the fun.
This one will be a one afternoon -one stop get together...not a 10 stop day-long deal. However for those who want to do other places in the PA-MD area that weekend, feel free to set up your own agenda.
