Beef&Fries Any suggestions? I'll be there for dinner one night next week? Waldo's bbq is pretty good if you're in a 'que frame of mind. I ate at Aunt Nancy's and it was awful, don't know if it was an anomoly or what because I didn't return. I hear there is a new Italian place that is not roadfood, but is real good, close to the Branding Iron steak house, to which I've never been.

The Hon-Dah Resort & Casino is on the Apache Reservation near Pine Top, about 12 miles outside Show Low. Dinner served until 9 PM. Prices are reasonable. They won't scalp you! http://www.hon-dah.com/index.html The Elevation up there is about 7000 feet. It will be cold up there with the possibility of Snow. Bring your Mittens & Long Johns! Charlie Clark's Steakhouse in Pine Top is good. Mesquite Grilled Steaks. http://charlieclarks.com/story-of-charlie-clarks/ Too bad you're not staying longer. It's beautiful country up there. The White Mountains are the prettiest part of the state IMHO. Hundreds of Acres of Ponderosa Pines. Are you getting there via Phoenix? The ride going up there is very scenic. Bring your Camera.
