Silver Mints Thu, 09/6/07 12:55 PM (permalink)
Hi - I am looking for a mint that I loved growing up. It was called 'silver mint'. It was clear in color and kind of oblong in shape. The wrapper was clear but the tied ends were blue. I seem to rember my parents buying the candy in the department store. Any ideas? I would really like to find this mint again. Thanks

I do remember those mints, my grandmother would always have them in a candy dish in her living room. I believe they were in an old fashioned hard candy mix that she got from Bamberger's, which then became Macy's.

They were good. Hope this helps a bit.
