Perfectly done, John! Sirloin was my parents' steak of choice when I was growing up and I still buy some every so often (including this past Friday) for the grill. Brad

I happen to enjoy sirloin more than any other cut on the grill. While my wife and kids like "tender" steaks, I like a bit of chew! Your steak looks perfectly done! Just rare enough. Wish I were dining at your house!!!!! cy

I remember the sirloin steak in the market always having that diaganol bone in the center. Some how that seemed to keep it juicier as well as having a bone to gnaw on at the end. I havent seen one like that in years. The old Hickory in dayton used to have a sirloin special. 22oz bone in sirloin for $9.95. It was so big thay folded it to fit on the platter

The steak looks great! I always look forward to your cooking skills. I also remember eating sirloin steak as a kid in the 50's and 60's. The sirloin always had a bone. It has been a long time since I have seen them sold that way. Why do you think they remove the bone? Keep up the great reports.
