Does anyone remember this terrible fast food restaurant? We had one in Burgaw, NC. I'm pretty sure they were owned by Hardee's and they served many of the same items. They recently closed and converted to a Hardee's. I'm just curious to know whether or not there are any of them still around or if anyone else has heard of them.

I remember Skat's. In the '80s, there was one on N. Main St. in Pilot Mountain NC. When they first opened, the fried chicken and mashed potatoes were pretty good, but within a year or so the quality had plummeted, and a couple of years later it became a Hardee's. Never saw or heard anything of Skat's again after that.
