Slice?...

Is Slice still around? My mother loved the stuff, but as of recently, we haven't been able to find it when we go down to Buffalo.

Slice was a pretty food soda. I had no idea Sierra Mist was lemon-lime slice...without the real juice I presume.

I'm also a fan of minute maid orange soda. Slice's orange was pretty close second to that. Though I really miss orange crush. Every now and then I see Orange Crush in glass bottles at a few markets. And I never see Sunkist orange soda anymore, and it's the only one with caffeine.

I could have sworn Slice was briefly on the market in the 80's - at least in CT.

I just bought some Slice ONE diet grape recently. I was happy because I have been looking for a good diet grape soda and I used to like the diet Slice orange years ago.

But the new version of diet Slice grape soda is awful. I thought about pouring it out and I surely will not buy it again

I think the relatively new Tropicana Twister orange and grape, which are both put out by Pepsi, as was Slice...are a replacement for Slice.

She may have been. I have no idea. I googled "Slice" and you can read above what the article indicates. Perhaps the article was wrong or there was still some available?

It has not been available in Knoxville for years.

Up until recently I could buy the Orange Slice all the time, but I haven't seen it lately. It had such a good taste that I thought it was the best orange pop around. Did you know that the Sunkist orange pop has caffeine in it? I never thought something like an orange soda would have caffeine in it.

Lemon Lime slice was discontinued early on, but most of the flavors survived up until last year. They had Orange (most common), Peach, Dr Slice, Pineapple, Fruit Punch, Grape and Strawberry. There may have been others. Orange Slice is still produced in at least 1 Pepsi territory in the southeastern area, I can't recall were though.

I swear I saw it in the grocery store here in SC..I must remember to check again.
