Good afternoon all. I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this site! On to my question. Does anyone know where you can get White Castle type mini burgers on the west coast? I live in Seattle and have never seen them here. I have read so much about them and would love to try them. Thanks for the help.

White Castle also sells their burgers in supermarkets across the U.S. Perhaps a store near you has them in the frozen section. Also, Amazon.com sells them. They are microwaveable or just let them thaw and enjoy!

If you do go for the supermarket White Castles, try steaming instead of microwaving to come closer to the authentic taste.

There is nothing close in Seattle. I satisfy "the crave" with the frozen, but certainly not cheap, frozen versions too.

I don't mean to be picky (oh, yes, I do, who am I kidding?) ... but that's not haiku. Haiku has a very strict form: Three lines, of which the first line contains exactly five syllables, the second line contains exactly seven and the third, five. For example: Glossy white facade; Oh, temple of greasy joy, Lubricate my soul!

I have a White Castle less than three blocks from work, right across from the McDonalds Museum and a new Mac's in DesPlaines IL. I eat sliders for breakfast maybe once a week or so. I start work very early- 3:30 AM to open up the shop, and on weekdays only the drive-thru is open. I'm truly surprised the Police don't just sit in the lot and grab all the drunk drivers. I've had my share of drunken WC episodes and i'm sure some of my pickles are still stuck on some WC ceiling somewhere! But it seems that throwing the boxes out in the parking lot is in vogue now. BTW the frozen White Castles are a disgrace- yuck.
