Smack Yo Mama BBQ Sauce

The craft show my wife participates in every year had commercial vendors this year with one of them being "Smack Yo Mama" BBQ Sauce out of Duluth Ga. I spoke with the owner for awhile and tried about half of his sauces before settling on the Georgia Gold, which is his version of a BBQ sauce out of the south who I will not mention due to not liking his political and personal vices ( You all know who though ).

It has a pretty good taste, especially when I consider that I have never been big on mustard based BBQ sauces. His website is www.smackyomama.com and he has plenty to satsify the chilli heads up here to. He was charging $6 a bottle including tax at the show.

I may order some more down the road although mine is better to me, designed to my taste. The owner is a bit of a sarcastic person, very dry humor more than anything.

Hmmm... Nothing personal here, you've made some good posts in the past, BUT, this sounds like a spam... Now you must redeem yourself! Tell us how you've used this in your cooking experiences... Did Smacking your Momma help your Chicken on the grill, or put your ribs in line? Do any local restraunts use this product??

No, I'm not spamming here UncleVic. I just tried something new to me and was passing it along to see if anyone else had heard of or tried it as well. I have not had time to fire up the grill yet, but did try some on a roast pork sandwich for lunch today and it was pretty good for mustard base.

Oh yeah, it's "mama" not Momma.....

Thanks for the link, Dennis. I'm going to order some of the Georgia Gold and try it on some SPAM!

(UncleVic, I don't think he intended this to be a blantant ad. Like I have done in the past, I took it as a sincere attempt to share something good with the Roadfooders.)

Bushie, how do you think a chicken would taste with that mustard sauce on if I brine it overnight then rub it down good with my rub before cooking it?
