Smoothie Questions

Anyone on here have any experience with smoothies? Should I brand with a particular company or just find my ownrecipes? I'd like to offer them on the menu, as I think they'd do well (along with shaved ice) at my hotdodg stand.

Its very easy to use smoothie mix concentrate for the basic flavors, then add your own flair with different juices, fruits, ice creams. I sell Hershey's Ice cream at my shop, so I use their mixes. I havent sold them off my trailer yet, but I have thought of it. Let us know how it works for you. dw

Coming from a Coffee Shop standpoint the best smoothie mixes I've found are from Dr. Smoothies 100% fruit line & Big Train. Both are all natural , no artificial flavorings or ingredients, sweetened with fruit juice or pure cane sugar instead of corn syrup. All you do is add water & ice & blend. I've used both off & on for many years. Great flavor choices. Mitch Bella Caffe Fine Coffee & Espresso Catering
