Shake Cakes (Choc, vanilla & strawberry) by BREAK (then Campbell-Taggart, now Earth Grains). There was nothing else like those anywhere. I wish IBC would buy out that company and produce them under the Drake's brand! Would fit in perfectly with the old Strawberry and Banana Shortcakes, which should also be brought back. Since the Drake Bakeries actually manufacture the Twinkies in this area, just start making the Strawberry and Banana Twinkies (which I completely missed) again, and put Drakes labels on them.
Also, what happened to the Lil' Angels for the summertime? It seems those were discontinued as well.
And do you all still ave Hostess Apple Cupcakes out there? They long disappeared from NY, but everytime I go to any other city; they still have them.

Fire balls!

I think fire balls are still around--you can usually get them individually wrapped. There
were smaller fire balls sold in boxes (made by the company that makes Lemon Heads and Jaw Breakers I think) but I have not seen those in years.

Guacamole Doritos

If anything should be brought back or found again are NIBS.... a licorice bite candy... from the early 60's.. Used to have a picture of a camel and a desert scene on them... They were great

Anyone remember the Seven-Up candy bar made by Pearson's in St. Paul? It was like 7 candy bars in one. How 'bout those pastel after-dinner mints about 1-1/2 inch across with a corrugated bottom, kinda grainy, and melt in your mouth?

I just read a piece on Taquitos.net that says that the Taco Dorito is now back. happy chipping.

They still have Zero bars and Tahitian Treat fruit punch in Texas and Florida. I'm pretty sure I've seen a Munch bar too. I for one am all for bringing back Crunch Tators. They were so good!

I'm all about bringing back the salsa and cream cheese chips too. Those were so good.
I'm also up for 3-D doritos to come back too.

They have the big and chewy sweet tarts, spree candy, milk chocolate mounds, and Drumstick Ice Cream cones in Florida. I'm pretty sure they have them in Texas too.

Another favorite that I usually only see around Halloween and didnt even see this year, is Sixlets.
I have two drinks that I remember from when I was a kid - Ski and clear Pepsi.

I know I'm going crazy with the posts, but this is my first night on here, and there's just so much I think should be brought back. One of my all time favorites that I definitely vote as my number one thing to bring back were these hot doritos from when I was a kid. I can't remember the exact flavor, bt they had a picture of peppers, onions and tomatoes on the front of the bag. They were so awesome.

Are you thinking of the salsa rio doritos? I loved those too.

Here are some of mine I am sure to think of more later:

Willy Wonka Scrunch bar, it was kind of like a 5th Ave bar, but way better.

Willy Wonka Oompas – the original ones that were like M&M’s - they were filled with chocolate and peanut butter.

The ORIGINAL Plain M&M’s - they changed the chocolate in the 90’s – I REALLY miss them.

Taco flavor Doritos.

Pizza Spins. I really miss those.

Coca-Cola and ALL sodas in returnable GLASS bottles made with real SUGAR not High Fructose corn syrup – I have to pay two dollars for a Mexican coke in Seattle, if I can even find one and there still are not as good as I recall.

Nabisco Chocolate Snaps. I gave up looking for them.

Mothers brand angel food chocolate chip cookies.

The original "Sports Shake" drink made my Mid America farms,it was available in chocolate,vanilla or strawberry - it was super rich. But they changed the product to make it lower in fat awhile back and now it is not at all the same.

McDonalds FRIED hot apple pie – they bake them now and they are not nearly as good.

Chocolate Ovaltine from Chicago – The mix used to look like coffee crystals, and was a totally different product from what is sold as Ovaltine now. I used to be able to get the original kind that was made in England, but I heard they are not making it anymore. I have found some from Thailand, but it is not quite the same.

PDQ – made by Ovaltine from Chicago.

Chef Boyardee’s cheese ravioli in a can – a great comfort food from my childhood – I can’t find it anywhere anymore.

Delaware punch. I have seen that you can get the concentrate for it out of Mexico.
