I have not eaten at McDonald's since 2000. It was not bad at all. Sure there are better places, but its not inedible.

I have dined at 3 star Michelin restaurants, diners, fast food...some is terrific, some is mediocre..why be snooty about it.

I enjoyed my small hamburger and fries. It cost me a mere $2.80.

It reminds of wine snobs as well. They won't touch wines that are not rated by some fancy magazines and they like to pay a premium for their snobbery.  Good wine can be had for a fair price.

In the end its about enjoying your meal, not what some chef recommends or not, of what others think..who cares really.

i like them too. I remember crossing the border and asking where the nearest one was located and the border guard said i needed my sense of taste checked.

His attitude cracked me up, but he was serious. I tried it...not sure what's so bad about it.

I usually do not care for chain restaurants, but so far its been fine.

The worse meal of my life was at fancy French Bistro. The texture of the chicken was spongy, and I felt sick the whole night.  The salad dressing was poorly executed as well..far too salty and oil with wilted greens. No, it was not supposed to be like that.

What made it worse was the chef and his hostess wife...people who think they are bringing culture to the city, but are trying to pass mediocrity under the guise of some candlelight, nice curtains, and their French accent.  I have eaten better French food at a several places for much less francs. Sighs...snobbery is unappealing especially when you cannot deliver.

        Yes..i have rattled on.

          Are they healthy?

          Beats me.

Nope. I sometimes stick a hashbrown in the bun too, to make it even unhealthier!

            Mcdonald's is what it is.

I still go there every so often.  Always get the same thing: Double Cheeseburger, Single cheeseburger, Fries, Coke and it is usually pretty good.

            BTW, McDonalds fries def. FTW.

All you people guffawing at McDonalds are ridiculous, it isn't gourmet but it isn't like some of you make it seem.
