sk bob where is Rogue Valley, Bill ? are you that ashamed of your state that you won't even display it? The Rogue valley is in Southern Oregon, near the border with California. And my friend Bill is a very proud Oregonian.

I havent been there in about 6 years but for the last month I have stopped almost every day,the new ice coffee is just really hitting my spot.I wouldnt be surprised if that product is responsibile for a lot of their recent success. I do have a complaint tho, about 1 out of every 4 visits, they put hazelnut in it,which I did not ask for and do not like, and do not think should be a default. And at this McD's store, when you exit the drive thru you are dumped right onto a divided highway,so there is not much chance of going back for a replacement/.

I think their biscuit breakfast sandwiches are okay. But I still only go there about 2-3 times year. I can't remember the last time I bought a lunch or dinner item from McD's. Maybe it's because I worked at one when I was a sophomore in high school.

Two McDoubles (hold the cheese-like substance) and a small drink (hold the fries) - Cheap, filling, quick, relatively low carb meal for about $3.21 - most always served hot / freshly prepared.

Hey, I have stock in McD but that doesn't mean I eat there! Once in a while we'll stop for a $1 salad but only as a filler if we're on the road and nothing else is around.

I love Florida, especially Sanibel Island, St. Augustine, and St. George Island. I’ve spent many a-spring break hiking up the beach to Fort Matanzas from my grandparents place in Crescent beach. Not sure that I’d want to live there full time, but I love to visit. Anyway, I’ve never really liked McDonalds. I would occasional get Quarter pounders with cheese as a child, but I can’t stand McDonalds food now that I’m older.

McDonald's success is not really surprising. In recessions the downscale restaurants are the ones that usually do well because they offer low-cost items that consumers can afford. Once the economy rebounds, both upscale and downscale restaurants will thrive. However, if a McDonald's or ANY fast-food restaurant is poorly managed, nothing can save it. I often think of that when I see people make comments who like or dislike certain restaurant chains. If those restaurants have good, edible materials and a well-trained work force, customers will show up seven days a week. If not, bye-bye!

In the past year I've been to my hometown McDonald's twice - once because I saw an ad for Big Macs and since I hadn't had one in maybe 10 years I decided to try it again. Nothing had changed - I ate maybe a third of it . The other time I was coming off a hangover from too much wine the night before - on my way to work stopped for a Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit. The biscuit was excellent, the egg was rubbery and the bacon was micro thin but the it soothed what was ailing me.

I do not understand why you cannot reply to a post in a civil manner or not at all. In any event do not bother responding to this one as you have just joined a couple of others on my blocked (Ignored) list. Tata

I've not had a burger from there in years.. Though the one around the corner from here is offering a buy 1 Sausage McMuffin, and get the second one free. So I've done that offer 3 times in the last month (and get a hash brown stick thing to go with it). 3 times, about 7 hours later, I'm found sitting on the throne paying for my ill (and budget thinking) ways of my life.

Another vote for their biscuits! I get it with just the sausage & add one of their iced coffees w. the sugar-free vanilla syrup for a quick breakfast.

If everyone was like everyone else life would kind of be pretty dull though. Keep your chin up - there are still a lot more folks around with a sense of humor than sourpusses - you just gotta know how to tickle their funny bone.

I have to agree with the other posters about the steak bagel. If you get one that's fresh and hot, it's the best thing they have. Of course if you visit the one in my town forget it. They have to be the worst McDonalds in the country. Never walk out or drive off without checking your bag to make sure it's right.

That is what I say about White Castle - while I enjoy their burgers, shakes and breakfast sandwiches, they can screw up the simplest orders.

NYPIzzaNut I thought their fries had gone downhill? What is a sausage mcgriddle? A sausage McGriddle is a breakfast sandwich with two pancake-like, English muffin-shaped rounds with a sausage patty between them. The rounds have a sort of syrup inside them, causing them to taste like pancakes and syrup. I tried one once when they first came out several years ago. It asn't bad at all, I thought.
