Some people dont belong in this business

Local BMX track has weekly meet, very popular in this area. Regular cart guy let them know he wouldnt be coming back out "too hot". From what they tell me, gates open at 10am he would show up somewhere around 11 with a small amount of dogs w mustard ketchup only for $4 and coke or diet coke cans for $2.50. That was the whole choice. Sodas were just "cool" not cold. Dogs were just edible. He would be long gone by 2pm when meet would end at 5. Came and asked me friday to do it saturday. Arrived 930 and left at 530. They were even more hungry and thirsty than the softball thing I did recently. Yeas it was hot and I sweated like a pig but had a great day and I think I can have a regular gig from this. Ive been advised to not mention numbers on here anymore but suffice it to say it was well well worth my time. Some of the people from this week remember me from the softball and some even bought big quanities to take home for dinner! This old truck keeps getting better known all the time and continues to amaze me how much I can gain just by putting out that extra effort. Going to pick up the second truck this afternoon and should have it ready in about 2 weeks. Gonna need it to take some of the pressure off my truck. (wow theres a weird complaint!) spud

Know how the heat and humidity is down there. 103 -105 here for next three days not heat index, hoping for rain, rain and rain. Gotten alot of weekend stuff as you. Good numbers but better yet more lunch traffic thru the week, since they find out where i'm located. Wish I had a trailer or van now, could really expand on menu.

Way to go, Spud. I just don't get why some folks don't have the smallest fraction of commonsense when it comes to running their own business. They act as if customers are an entitlement. From your description, I would bet that the guy is not very far away from hanging up the "Closed" sign on his business. Hey, maybe you could get a good deal on his equipment
