It's 10 minutes from my house and I could care less.

I quite like the Sonics. They are a little more original for fast food. Instead of just a burger and fries, you can get fried pickles. I think their business plan targets smaller towns to avoid competition, so when I'm near one, I usually opt for the local places where you can get regional food. If there was one 10 minutes from my house, I'd be fairly happy, instead of that Wendy's down the road. . . . no offense to you Wendy's fans.

Aurora is hardly a small town, there is plenty of competition including a McD's across the street. My vote goes to Culvers, I'm not waiting 2 hours for my food at Sonic like my friend's husband did the other day.

Years ago, Sonic use to be much better than they are now. The menu is better but the quality has definately gone down hill. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

We had our first and last Sonic experience last night in Waretown, NJ, and it was a nightmare. We would never, ever go there again. I'm not going to go into detail because it's not worth it, but I told my boyfriend that if he continues to feel the way he did from that hamburger, he'd better get to the hospital. I hope they don't open any too near where I live. If the place appeals to you, go for it. But for us, no, no, and no.

They have flavoured teas, and a good chicken sandwich on cibatta bread, and you can get tatertots instead of fries in your combo if you wish. I haven't had any problems with the ones here in town. Maybe they are just run different or it's the help or something. The one on FM78 here in Schertz isn't too far from my house, in fact i can walk there, and you can even sit outside at the covered area and eat at a picnic table.Been here for many years. The one on IH35 next to Bill miller's BBQ isn't bad,and has the same arrangement. Sorry some of you had bad experiences at your Sonic.

I thought Arby's was bad, until I ate at a Sonic. Can it get any worse (excepting chain pizza)?

I seldom buy the sandwiches at Sonic. However their beverages are the best deal I have found at any FF stand. Cheap, Huge, and great Taste. Go in the afternoon and get them at half-price during 'Happy Hours'! The Sonic in Jeffersonville, IN is located next door to a Popeye's Chicken Stand. This offers a decent two-step FF snack or lunch without driving all over town. If one is going for fast food, this combination is about as good as it gets !
