FINALLY someone has made it easy to drive and eat biscuits and gravy I saw the commercial for them the other day "Sausage Biscuit Dippers Wanna go for a dip? Then you're in luck because SONIC® now has Sausage Biscuit Dippers™. It's a SONIC® spin on a classic breakfast favorite with three mini sausage biscuits and a side of warm country gravy, for your dipping pleasure. They're portable, dippable, craveable, lovable ... well, you get the point." from sonic's webiste

I stopped at Cookville, TN enroute to our BBQ meet at Shaffer Farms for a quick snack of the dippers. They werre not bad. Sausage was well cooked, biscuits were strangely baked on all sides inside and out. I liked it that wqay. Gravy was piping hot but needed more pepper. It was boxed very neat and handy for traveling. The biscuits were small enough to dip and they provided enough napkins to keep it from becoming a messy snack. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

The nearest Sonic is about 15 miles away, on my way to my daughter's house in Roseville, CA. So, I will have to try it for a well recommended breakfast treat, the next time I go there. Thanks for the head's up, Cajun King!

My Grandmother was the most easy going lady in the world. She had a few rules. A big rule was NEVER eat "on the run". I had to sit down at the table, while eating anything. If it was a picnic, I had to sit on the grass. The beach, well you get the point. I could not ever bring myself to eat anything while driving, or as a passenger in a car. Luckily, there is not a Sonic within 100 miles.

I think this gravy dip cup may still be a little tough to eat in the car. Perhaps Sonic should provide one of those spoon straws that you can get with a slurpee.

I have always wondered why some place had not offered something like this before. I agree paul about the gravy needing pepper, but for fast food it's not too bad.

The biscuits are half dollar size and the dip cup is a bit larger. I am not sure that it makes it better or easier but it was easily done by me without a mess. I was not driving though. The gravy needs more pepper though. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Tried it yesterday.... pathetic. The biscuits were dry and chalky, the gravy(if you could call it gravy)was just nasty. The sausage was by far the best part. I like Sonic.... in fact the original Sonic was started about 50 miles west of me but I won't be ordering the B Dippers again.

Someone (Del Taco? Mrs. Winners?) had a few years back a self-contained biscuit & gravy & sausage sandwich. A biscuit shell filled with a sausage patty and floating in thick pepper gravy. Worked fine while driving as long as you held the open end up.
