Sorry, no hot dogs today!

Yesterday, temps hit the 90's. Today and Sunday look the same with humidity in the 80%-90% range. We've decided not to sell hot dogs and roll out the ice cream cart. We'll be selling Dove Bars(dark, milk, milk/almonds, & chocolate/chocolate), Giant King Cones, Sponge Bob Bars, Fire Cracker Bomb Pops, soda, water, and iced tea. Some days, it just pays to work smarter, rather than harder. On days where the temps exceed 90+, selling ice cream and cold drinks may be an alternative. We're also considering fresh squeezed lemonade. CSD Born in Chicago Raised in Chicago Moved to Wisconsin Selling ice cream & cold drinks this week end

I hear ya CSD... This whole week has been an Ice Cream, Ice Cold Drinks type of week... Releif in sight Tuesday when remnents of that Tropical Storm give us some rain here... After that we should be in the mid 70's with much lower humidity levels...

Hey Guys, I installed an Air Conditioner in my unit and kept on selling. It was a bad week tho, still did 0,000.00 this week in cool comfort. I also sell Ice cream too. I have 6 coolers of Diff kinds of sodas. I also had an Ice box w/ice delivered at no charge for box, I buy Ice wholesale. I use 10 bags a day (9 lbs each) before I was going to local store 2 times a day. Working smarter, not harder. I just put up an Industrial strength 10x12 awning for customers. Having a permanent location is great. I'm now selling at least 150 HD a day. Later Cowboy Bob 2
