Given that bbq is quite subjective...

About 2 or 3 miles North of Griffin on Hwy 19/41, this is the best place I've found for bbq in GA. The pork and chicken is the best. I cannot say their baby backs are the best.

For baby back ribs, Norcross Station, Norcross, GA. Not a bbq restaurant but they know how to do ribs.

Forget the chains...Sony's is total gag-me (sorry...just can't stand 'em). Ditto Smokey Bones. Never seen so much spent to build a restaurant with such lousy food.
