Special occasion dinner on San Antonio Riverwalk

We're celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary 12/27 at the Riverwalk in San Antonio.  We'll be staying at the Drury Plaza on the Riverwalk without a car.  Any suggestions for a special meal within walking distance?  Cilantro is not my favorite herb.  Boudro's looks interesting.  Ideas????????

Las Canaris is the best restaurant in SA IMO.  Boudro's is outstanding.  I also like Biga on the Banks.

I concur on Biga's. Plus the riverwalk, during the holidays, is the best time of the year to go.

Go to Historic Market Square about 6 blocks W of your hotel and browse through the shops, produce and junk there.  Go to Mi Terra for great Mexican food and entertainment.  La Margarita is outstanding also.  Both are in the Market.

hey Dad LMAO, looks like 30 and out, shes not re-upping for another tour of duty, she will miss you. The river walk is a fun place, you guys will have fun. There is a Mexican market a few blocks from the river walk, they sell Gorditos at a small open air stand,  they are great. The Gordito is a Homemade tortilla cooked on the grill and then fried in the deep fryer to puff up, they then split it open and stuff it with a meat feeling. You will be back in her good graces after she has a few of these........................have fun..................Bill ...........P.S. Tell your wife I will be in Hawaii on Dec 27th with my bride of 33 years. This should start another fight.
