Metroplex Jim- I assumed that the "Joe" topping was sloppy joe meat, but I should have asked. That would be a first as a hot dog topping that I have ever seen. mamaduck43- Grew up in a log cabin in the park? How cool is that? I grew up less than 15 minutes away from the park. Unfortunately, the pedestrian bridge to that island is locked and they have a sign saying you can't feed the ducks. Too bad!

ken8038- I appreciate that you posted that. That is great news that they will allow bread to continue to be fed to the fish. Throwing the pellets to the fish isn't nearly as much fun. This was obviously a very important issue to the locals and their businesses. I can tell you that littering is a problem there as you almost always see a few empty bread wrappers in the water.

I can't resist... comparing India with Pennsylvania. (Since someone reopened this thread...) Catfish in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India: Funny thing, as I went to upload this, Flickr told me "Namaste" which is hello in Hindi they circulate thru various languages, but interesting coincidence today! (I also learned I can only upload 11 more photos before I have to upgrade or my old ones are invisible, which would ding my trip reports I think... so I guess I have to start using Photobucket? You seem to like it Cliff...) Namaste! (which translates much closer to the Hawi'ian "aloha" for hello, goodbye and general greetings!)
