St Louis Breakfast

Hello, will be in St Louis for a Sunday morning breakfast soon. Can anyone recommend somewhere good that I can get in on a Sunday morning and is not smokey? Preferably in the western suburbs but will drive for the right place, thanks, Todd

Is joekirkwood or Extreme Glow out there? Could certainly use your expertise on this, in looking around it looks like lots of the favorites have heavy smoking. We are not intolerant on that but on this particular trip we will have to have a decent non-smoking section, thanks, Todd

I am not 100% sure it's open Sunday, but theGoody Goody Diner serves some excellent breakfast.

I have very fond memories of the Wilbur I had at the Goody Goody Diner. Another place you might want to think about is OT Hodge, which is a fine chili parlor that also serves breakfast. http://www.othodge.com/

I'm pretty sure the Goody Goody Diner is closed on Sundays. Chris's Pancakes on Southwest in South St. Louis is one of our favorites for Sunday breakfast.

OK, now we are getting somewhere, thank you all. The OTHodge may be a place, are there several locations? I also am considering the Chris' Pancake House, keep 'em coming if anyone thinks of any more. Thanks, Todd

toddfleet- As far as I know, there is just the one OT Hodge location, out near the airport. I have never eaten at this particular one and I'm sure it can't have the atmosphere that one of the old closer to town ones did, before they closed down. If you don't mind having chili for breakfast, I recommend getting the Wilbur omelet or a Slinger.
