St. Louis Pizza & More

ASt. Louis Pizza & More has opened in my town, which now has 5 pizza places (2 chains, 1 mini-chain, 2 independents) for about 13,000 people. The company was started by a former Imo's mucketymuck and the 2 products are apparently quite similar. Has anyone ever eaten anything from SLP&M? I'm not a fan of "provel" and am hoping that the cheese shop 1 block over launches a counterattack...think maybe if I stopped there first and bought some mozzarella, parmesan, and romano the SLP&M people would put it on my pizza for me? Well, we tried it tonight. It wasn't bad but I probably would've liked it better with traditional cheese...provel definitely has a different feel and texture. At least on the menu it's listed as "Wisconsin provel" so that's a step in the right direction. We also had some lasagna, toasted ravioli, garlic bread, and breadsticks. I don't know if they're made on site from corporate recipes or shipped in frozen (I suspect maybe the ravioli and breadsticks are), but they were OK. Naturally, being a St. Louis-based chain there were lots of Anheuser-Busch products available, but fortunately they also have some Wisconsin beers and I was able to enjoy a couple of Leinies with dinner. I can't see this going anywhere - I've tried Imo's, and don't like the provel cheese or the matzo-like crust. No one in Kansas City eats St. Louis style pizza (I think there's one lone Imo's there), and KC is in the same State as St. Louis.
