I would like to thank John A, for both the inspiration as well as the plates....

Tonight's dinner;  Porterhouse and Waldorf Salad.

Before:  Sea Salt, Fresh Cracked Pepper, and Garlic Powder. 



Waldorf Salad:  Field Greens, Grape Tomatoes, Yellow Onion, Granny Smith Apples, Dried Cranberries, and Gorganzola; dressed with EVOO, Fresh Lime Juice, Red Wine Vinegar, Balsamic Vinegar, Salt and Pepper.

The Filet side



Served with a grilled Potato Roll.

        What a gorgeous meal. John is a good teacher, but the student must be willing to learn.....

          UGH,  potato roll?!?  I can't think of anything more vile in all of the food world.     Lol, good job otherwise.

              I love it! Those plates are perfect!

              The meal looks delicious and you did a great job on the pics.

                  Greymo - There was no theft involved, I promise you.

                  bwave - I too would have prefered something with more crust to it, but I brushed it with some of the drippings from the meat and olive oil, and it came out quite well.  It soaked up a lot of the juices on the plate.

                  John A - Nothing makes me happier than your complements.  But I'm keeping the plates.

                      Are there cranberries in your salad or are they all black olives?

                        mar52 - Yes there are Dried Cranberries in the salad.  I had to post this twice because the pictures didn't load the first time.  I must have forgot to write it in the second time.
