Steakhouse Bar Burgers
How common are they?
I went to the local high-end steakhouse, Vic Stewart’s, in Walnut Creek, CA. It is best known as one of those steakhouses that pay to be included in those “Best Independent Steakhouses” listings in the airline magazines.
Paid $6.50 for a really good half-pound bacon cheeseburger with fries. The menu said it was ground fillet and the bartender said they grind their hamburger meat daily from steak and prime rib.
Anyway, it was very good and a great deal. The Fuddruckers down the street charges $6.85 for a half-pound bacon cheeseburger and $1.99 for fries.
I read somewhere that Peter Luger’s has a good burger. Do other high-end steakhouses? Can you only get them in the Steakhouses’ bars?
